The problem Share Fuel -The vehicle pooling app solves

Share Fuel is basically a vehicle(2 wheeler/4 wheeler) pooling app exclusively for people belonging to a particular organisation.They are registered based on their official registered e-mail ID provided by that particular organisation.This ensures the authenticity and hence safety of the users. The owner of the vehicle can upload their scheduled trip details.The user (who wishes to share the ride) can get access to a list of available rides and fare according to his own trip details.

With the use of this application we intend to reduce the fuel usage and hence the carbon footprint. If you carpool to and from work, you could probably cut your transportation emissions number in half, or even better.Instead of using other commercial apps like uberpool or olashare, the unique selling point of this app is that it intends to combat a major area of climate degradation rather than money earning. The drivers(owners) as well as the users are provided points with every successful shared ride which adds up to level them up. With completion of each level the app users will be rewarded with eco-friendly goodies, recognition on social platforms and in their organization's newsletters or felicitation (trophy/medal) titled 'ECO-HERO'.The users can be encouraged to have friendly competitions through the real time leaderboard. The app also has a feature for 'weekly challenges' for creating awareness among people about changing their daily habits towards a more eco-friendly living.

Challenges we ran into

Since Google APIs are not free, too many access requests are not entertained and hence we were getting an error.Live tracking was not possible due to these errors.
