A decentralized system called ShardSafe for the safe storage and retrieval of private-key without relying on a centralized infrastructure.

The problem ShardSafe solves

A complete application that divides your private key or confidential information into several fragments and transmits them to trusted human social accounts, known as Guardians.

flow:-

  1. Users have the option to choose members as their wallet recovery agents or guardians.
  2. members can accept requests from users, and once the request is accepted, the user confirms the member as their service provider.
  3. To recover the wallet, users can request the service provider to sign a message.
  4. Once the message is signed and correctly verified on-chain, the service provider receives a fee transfer.

Challenges we ran into

1)To ensure that Shamir's secret sharing algorithm is resistant to collusion when using JavaScript, you can implement it using specific methods and techniques.
2)The (2,3) sharding algorithm can be expanded and adapted to support various thresholds and total share numbers by following some simple steps.
3)Implementing P2P chats protocol
4)Integrating methods to incentivised gurdians
