This project is a crypto payment gateway with a twist. It features the ability to download an immutable receipt for each transaction and also has the ability to generate unique gifs for transaction.
The problem Shardpay solves
This Project aims to build a fun and interactive way to perform transactions on the blockchain by incorporating a GIF API to generate Gifs corresponding to each transaction and storing it permanently on our Webapp. it also prints an immutable receipt verified on blockchain so people cannot scam with fake bills. The concept of an immutable ledger used here may be upscaled to be used for ideas such as immutable circulars in colleges.
Challenges I ran into
One Major challenge we faced was with regard to the use of the Shardeum RPC. Metamask kept giving an RPC error on performing transactions. On further analysis, we found that this was a problem with metamask and it was solved by resetting our metamask accounts.
Another problem we faced was during the implementation of an immutable receipt. We managed to implement this by using a hidden div block which gets printed on calling a print function.
Figuring out a way to use a Gif API to generate Gifs based on the keywords specified by the user.
