Blockchain addresses are usually something like: sei1k826ve3lf0h6xyvvp3lujnefaagv873xasuqmn. They are extremely long and are nearly impossible to remember.
SNS (Sei Name Service) allows users to assign human-friendly strings in place of the long blockchain addresses.
This increases user-friendliness and adoption.
Most people would prefer to send money to "Alice.sei" rather than "sei1k826xyz...suqmn". Most of people would prefer to interact with contract "WaffleSwap.sei" rather than "sei1jn41...nblo".
Environment setup issue. Seid CLI tool installation seems to install seid executable in a path that is different from other people. The quick start docs didn't work, requiring us to follow the workshop #7's video to run the example contract.
