The problem SCRAPIE solves
Food wastage is a massive problem and one of the most overlooked thing in today's world. One third of all food produced in the world goes to waste.
- Around 931 million tonnes of food goes to waste each year.
- 61% comes from households, 26% from food service and 13% from retail.
- Reducing waste could have social, economic and environmental benefits.
Even a small step matters a lot in solving this problem.
This web app eneables people to make best use out of the incridents available to them.
Challenges we ran into
We faced some problem in fetching the api but then corrected with the help of some guided videos available on the internet.
