The problem SCOGÉ solves

The SCOGÉ project solves the problem of disconnected and homogenized consumer experiences in the luxury fashion industry. By merging physical and digital goods and experiences through innovative technologies like gaming, RFID, and augmented reality, SCOGÉ offers a unique, immersive, and interactive narrative that engages users on a deeper level. This approach bridges global cultural gaps, fosters creative expression, and provides a dynamic alternative to the traditional, commercialized fashion market.

Through pioneering a platform that merges fashion and gaming to tell immersive stories, we are offering a revolutionary new medium for user engagement. People can use SCOGÉ to explore unique world-building narratives through interactive stories embedded in fashion items, augmented reality (AR) experiences, and collectible digital assets. This convergence of industries allows for a seamless and engaging experience where each piece of apparel acts as a portal to exclusive content.

SCOGÉ also fosters a global cultural exchange by creating a community where users can interact, share experiences, and collaborate, making them co-creators in the SCOGÉ universe. Challenges I Ran Into

1. Developing a Pipeline for Integrating NFT Contracts:
   One of the primary challenges was developing a robust pipeline to integrate NFT contracts produced by other platforms. These external contracts often lacked essential functions required for our platform. I'm developing custom contract that will be deployed to base, and using thirdweb's tools and startup community to help oversome technical obstacles.

2. Funding:
   lack of funding made it challenging to dedicate the necessary time and resources to the project. I focused on optimizing my workflow and prioritizing critical tasks that would have the most significant impact. I've participated in Base-builds weekly rounds, to help alleviate some of the financial constraints.

3. IPFS Asset Gateways Issues:
   Using IPFS for decentralized asset storage presented its own set of challenges, particularly with asset gateways not working reliably 100% of the time. To address this, I implemented a redundancy system where assets were mirrored across multiple gateways. This ensured that even if one gateway failed, the assets would still be accessible through another, improving overall reliability and performance. I'm taking a multi-chain approach to use other chains for asset storage.

4. Solo Development and Launching:
   The business roadmap has four key phases to complete, with digital assets and smart contracts being just one phase. This makes it challenging to communicate one element, when developing another. The solution will be a unique communicative tone that highlight the greater relationship between all elements. Also, I would like to take a fragmented open source approach. At this stage my repository is private, but I'd be happy to invite reviewers to view the code. I aim to incorporate opensource social protocols as well. Lastly, the project is ongoing, so it was hard to put a nail in it to submit something so iterative.
