Efficiency: Streamlines communication processes for speech-impaired individuals, making exchanges smoother and more efficient in various contexts, such as personal or professional settings.

Innovation: Harnesses advanced machine learning technology to interpret hand signs accurately, showcasing the potential of AI in improving the lives of individuals with disabilities.

Challenges we ran into

One of the significant challenges we faced was the integration of our AI model with the frontend components of our project. Despite trying various techniques such as FastAPI, web sockets, and Flask, we encountered persistent issues, particularly in managing multiple web sockets simultaneously. Despite our efforts, the error persists, hindering seamless connectivity between the AI model and the frontend. To address this, we're intensifying our debugging efforts, seeking guidance from experts, and exploring alternative integration methods. We remain committed to resolving this issue to ensure the smooth functioning of our application and enhance the communication experience for speech-impaired individuals.
