The problem Sakshat solves

Our proposed device/system will be resolving the issues concerning the sewer holes and road management. The IoT based system will have the following features,

(1) The central element of the proposed system will be a web portal, used to provide live updates for the maintenance work, reporting complaints, and some basic information concerning the authorities.

(2) A hardware-based device will be mounted under the lid of the sewer holes to detect the spillage of the wastewater and any harmful gases.

(3) Even if there is water logging in any area, the city cameras will be able to detect it and report it to the concerned authority. Moreover, the citizens can manually report the complaint on the website.

(4) Apart from the aforementioned-utilities potholes and Road damages will be detected automatically in the city cameras and reported on the portal. Furthermore, the citizens can manually register a complaint about the same.

(5) The live updates for damages and maintenance will be automatically shared on Twitter and a website.

(6) To prevent any hazards or mess, the device will send API-based personalized messages to the nearby citizens.

The proposed system can be helpful to manage smart cities with a web portal, serving multiple utilities, and improving the quotidian facilities used by the citizens.
