The problem Sahaai solves

Solves the problem for volunteer by minimizing the process of searching event's hosted by NGO's by having details of all the NGO's on one platform. NGO's can register themselves on our platform and also login to get admin interface and also they can publish their event detail's on our platform which can be viewed by all the user's and Volunteer can register themselves on our platform and enroll to any event based on their requirement.

After successfull completion of an event, volunteer's will be assigned cred points(Credits) which will be decided by the NGO that has hosted the event and can be used to find out the active volunteer on monthly or weekly basis which intern can be used to provide reward's too. It also has donation feature for all the NGO's

Challenges we ran into

As most of us were new to making web project's we were not familiar with Django framework and had to learn the framework along the process and took some time to solve errors and also we faced issues with the version control(Git) in managing the merge conflicts and version related issues.

We faced issue with implementing 3D background using Vanta.js and also learning different frontend techniques and CSS took some amount of time. Had some problem with installing a python package named 'pillow' using virtual environment 'pipenv'.
