The problem SafeOrg solves

Due to covid-19, the entire world has come to a halt, people are losing their jobs. In many places, schools and offices attempted to reopen, making people vulnerable to the covid virus. As we saw in Andhra Pradesh, Schools Reopened, 500+ students & 800+ teachers tested positive for COVID-19 just in 3 days. As per The Economic Times, 17.7 million jobs were lost just in the month of April. By now over 50 million jobs have been lost, and thus we made a product to solve this problem and make organizations like companies and offices safe for work again.

Challenges we ran into

Integration - This was a challenge for us because the connection between Python and node was crucial to our project. We had to handle that through internal API. Mixing different parts of our code proved to be tougher than we thought.
AWS - All of us members are new to deployment. There are many many options and configurations which were challenging to us and were bent to fit specific workflows.
ML - We used transfer learning to take a model and fit it to suit our specific needs. It was quite hard to retrain even a model on that scale as every model had its own needs.
