SafeBuy acts as your personal shopping bodyguard: It scans websites while you browse, detects unreliable ones, and warns you before you get robbed.
Challenges we ran into
Honestly, integrating everything was trickier than expected. Running the Python-based ML model directly in the browser wasn't feasible, so we had to adapt detection logic in JavaScript. Merging multiple GitHub repos with different structures also caused a bunch of conflicts. And styling the UI to look clean and modern (think Apple vibes) while keeping it functional took some extra effort. But with a bit of trial, error, and a lot of debugging, we managed to bring it all together.
