Saathi is a platform that allows people to share their personal stories and experiences with challenges or difficulties they have faced, and to connect with others who have faced similar challenges. The goal of the platform is to provide a space for people to find support, understanding, and resources from others who have firsthand experience with similar issues. By allowing people to post about their problems and connect with others through specific tags or by forming communities, Saathi aims to create a sense of connection and support for people who are struggling and looking for help.
One of the unique features of Saathi is that it allows people to share their personal stories and experiences with others who may be facing similar issues. Whether you're struggling with a mental health problem, dealing with a difficult relationship, or facing any other challenge, Saathi provides a space for you to connect with others who have gone through similar experiences and can offer support and guidance.
We faced a number of challenges while building this application "Saathi" using Flutter.
One of the first challenges we encountered was the learning curve associated with using a new technology. While all of the teammates had some experience with programming, none of them had used Flutter before. This meant that they had to spend a significant amount of time learning the ins and outs of the framework and figuring out how to use it effectively.
Another challenge was the scope of the project. "Saathi" was an ambitious project that involved building a complex and feature-rich application. This required the team to carefully plan and organize their work, and to be constantly mindful of the time and resources they had available.
One of the biggest challenges the team faced was related to data management. "Saathi" was designed to be a community-driven platform, with users sharing their experiences and offering support to one another. This required the team to develop a robust system for storing and organizing user data, as well as ensuring that the app was secure and protected against potential threats.
Another challenge was the need to constantly test and debug the app as they developed it. With so many different features and functionality, it was essential that the team thoroughly tested every aspect of the app to ensure that it was functioning properly. This required a significant amount of time and effort, and often resulted in setbacks and delays.
Despite these challenges, we were able to successfully build "Saathi" using Flutter. Through hard work, determination, and a willingness to learn and adapt, they were able to overcome the obstacles they faced and create a powerful and impactful application that has helped many individuals affected by severe diseases and illnesses.
