The problem Rockchain Duel Arena solves

Current Web3 gaming faces three major challenges:

1. Accessibility – many dApps are built for desktop and exclude the majority of users who are mobile-first.

2. Complexity – onchain games are often too technical, requiring deep blockchain knowledge.

3. Engagement – lack of simple, casual games that can scale while still leveraging blockchain incentives.

Rockchain Duel Arena solves this by:

🎮 Creating a mobile-first onchain gaming hub where users can instantly connect their wallet and start playing skill-based duels (like Rock–Paper–Scissors, Dice, and TicTacToe).

🔗 Using wallets as player identity, making onboarding simple and allowing players to own their history, streaks, and rewards.

💰 Introducing reward-based duels – players stake, play, and win transparently onchain.

🌐 Built on Base L2, enabling fast, low-cost transactions and making gameplay smooth enough for global adoption.

Challenges I ran into

⚡ Mobile Wallet Integration – one of the hardest parts was ensuring wallet connections worked seamlessly on mobile browsers. We overcame this by testing across providers and adding fallback options.

🎮 Game State Management – ensuring fairness and synchronizing game outcomes fully onchain without breaking UX required balancing smart contract logic and frontend updates.

🚀 Hosting & Deployment – restructuring the repository for Vercel + GitHub CI/CD was necessary to achieve reliable deployment.

🎨 Design & Responsiveness – building a modern, engaging interface with smooth animations while keeping it lightweight for mobile-first players.
