The problem RoadSense solves

Our solution employs cutting-edge algorithms such as YOLOv8 for vehicle detection and ByteTrack for tracking. These algorithms enable real-time monitoring of vehicles entering the roundabout, tracking their movements, and analyzing trajectories to discern entry and exit points.

Challenges we ran into

The challenges include accurately defining polygon coordinates, establishing precise bounding boxes around vehicles, preparing and training large datasets for machine learning algorithms, and overcoming software and hardware limitations.
