We aim to bring decentralized solutions to the Latin American region, where creators often face challenges with intellectual property and monetization. By offering an NFT marketplace with built-in royalties, we empower artists and content creators from LatAm to earn long-term from their digital works. My connection to the region stems from a deep appreciation for its vibrant creative community and a desire to support local creators through innovative blockchain solutions.

We are addressing the lack of sustainable income models for creators in LatAm. Many artists and content creators struggle with traditional models of monetization, where they often receive only a one-time payment for their work. Additionally, there's limited access to global markets for LatAm creators to sell their digital assets.

Our decentralized NFT marketplace allows LatAm creators to mint, buy, and sell NFTs while ensuring perpetual royalties for every resale of their creations. This guarantees that artists can continue to earn revenue as their digital assets grow in value. By utilizing Base blockchain technology, we offer a transparent and accessible platform that connects creators with a global audience, providing them with an alternative and more equitable way to monetize their work.

We faced a few technical hurdles, such as ensuring proper royalty distribution across different smart contract interactions. Another challenge was integrating IPFS for decentralized storage, as we wanted to provide an optional but reliable solution for storing NFT metadata. We overcame these by optimizing our Solidity contracts for efficiency and by thoroughly testing the IPFS integration to ensure seamless user experience.
