The problem Rhino Rewards solves

The mainstream adoption of SOL (Solana's native cryptocurrency) in consumer applications and the development of the Solana ecosystem within the Web2 market pose exciting challenges and opportunities. In the current landscape dominated by Web 2.0 applications, centralized control and data ownership concerns persist, hindering user empowerment and disrupting the seamless flow of value within digital ecosystems. To shift toward a Web 3.0 paradigm, where decentralization and user ownership are paramount, it's crucial to integrate SOL into consumer applications as a primary medium of value exchange. Developers can leverage Solana's high throughput and low transaction costs to create efficient decentralized applications (dApps) and platforms within the existing Web2 infrastructure, providing users with enhanced security, transparency, and ownership of their data. Additionally, fostering a habit of earning SOL as a reward can be achieved by integrating token incentives within these applications, encouraging user engagement, and promoting decentralized participation. By addressing the limitations of Web 2.0 and embracing the capabilities of Solana's blockchain, we can pave the way for a more user-centric and decentralized Web 3.0 experience.

Challenges I ran into

Worked on a new backend query field and had the very best experience as this was my first Solana hyperdrive hackathon with new team members met through Solana Hacker House.
