RetailSense

Retail industry faces a critical issue in effectively managing deadstock. Our software uses in-store camera to detect individuals so that they can identify which part of the store is inactive

The problem RetailSense solves

Our software caters to retail industries such as Zudio, Zara, and other retail businesses . These renowned brands invest substantial resources in their marketing endeavors to understand customer preferences. All of this could be achieved with just one click on our website. No need to spend hours analyzing sales data; our solution simplifies the process for you. Our project "RetailSense" concept involves utilizing camera technology. The in-store camera detects individuals and tracks them in specific areas of the stores . The camera's pixels per centimeter(ppc)is a minimum of 20, with 10 ppc required for effective detection, ensuring uninterrupted recording .This allows us to determine crowd density and assess customer interest in aisles and racks. This data facilitates improved product placement and enables detailed analysis for the marketing team, streamlining the targeting of customer sentiments within specific niches .
The stores can also find out the number of products which customers are not interested in and keep them on discounts to avoid deadstocks. The problem of deadstocks ,overproduction in todays fast emerging trends would also be reduced significantly.

Our future Goal is to categorize the racks based on RFID tags, specifically UHF tags with a range of approximately 10 meters. If a product is picked , indicating customer interest ,the time of flight (TOF) feature measure distance changes. this will help the store management to know customers interests precisely.
