The problem Residents solves

Home Owners Associations (HOAs) are costly to run, often not as transparent as they desire, and often bring operational debt and high costs on to homeowners (who likely haven't even desired to be in the HOA). Bringing HOA management on-chain means lowering overhead costs, creating interoperable tools to transform as the homeowners do, and creating more inherently democratic tools for a common form of collective organizing

Challenges we ran into

We ran into several hurdles. Primarily time and the learning curve of Web3. One of our teammates is a traditional Web2 dev with no Web3 experience and our other teammate is on the business side of Web3.
