The problem REPLEDGE solves

Donation of material goods has always been a tedious process for common people. Our app tries to solve that by streamlining the entire process of donating their used goods. We do that by trying to establish door-to-door collection of donated items. So the users could just log into our app and make a post of whatever they want to donate and a volunteer would come upto their doorstep & collect the material. In addition to this, we have also designed features like volunteering for and hosting a drive. Our motive is to connect NGOs with people who want to genuinely help the community. An NGO would host a drive which could be easily managed through our site. And the volunteer would look through the drive list to select the best suitable and convenient drive for them.

Challenges we ran into

• Backend:
  => Filtering through multiple querysets was difficult and required immense efforts.
  => Large amount of migrations resulted in git conflicts.
• Frontend:
  => package-lock.json had conflicts & resolving these convlicts was quite a time consuming task.
  => After almost completing the frontend we realised that our theme was not that impressing & had to change most of the structure of the frontend.
