As second-year students with just a day's experience in a hackathon, building RecyClique came with its share of challenges. Our limited familiarity with Flutter, the framework we used, led to a slower start as we grappled with its concepts and syntax. The tight time constraints of the hackathon meant that we had to make tough decisions about which features to prioritize and which to set aside. Integrating backend services and APIs proved to be trickier than anticipated, and designing an intuitive user interface with our limited UI/UX experience was a hurdle we had to tackle. Despite these challenges, we approached each obstacle as an opportunity to learn and grow, and we're proud of the progress we've achieved in just a short time.
