The problem KeeChain solves
Traditional Indonesian bird contest trade (champion and ordinary) is plagued by fraud, unverifiable provenance, centralized control, opaque intermediaries, and payment friction. Buyers and sellers can’t trust identities, quality claims (i.e champion status), or settlement, platform dependency and lack of neutral dispute mechanisms create systemic uncertainty, pricing is opaque and value is leaked through informal middlemen. This leaves millions of birds’ value trapped in inefficient, risky Web2 marketplaces. Keechain solves this with a decentralized, transparent NFT marketplace with verifiable provenance, built-in trust layers, and native crypto settlement
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge was integrate Xellar Kit wallet into a Next.js frontend while deploying our blockchain application on Lisk. Getting traditional contest bird traders to trust and use a crypto-native marketplace and reliably link NFTs to real birds
