Reader's paradise! a fully-fledged website totally dedicated for the students and book lovers.
The problem Read'O Verse! solves
We created this website to solve the problems of every book reader around the globe. It could be any student preparing for a competitive examination or a person who loves to read books. Our website “read o verse” allows users to Rent a book rather than buying a new one. Generally, students who want to study a particular chapter from a particular book would have to buy a new book but our website allows them to rent it with anyone from the same city at a very minimal cost. Another great feature of our website is that it provides every user its library (My Space) where a user can store all its Ebooks, Audiobooks in one place with a to-do list-making feature and graphical analysis of all tasks(this feature is still under making phase..). Other than that, users can get information about lit-fests and book-fair going to take place in the city. In one tap the user provided information about all libraries near them and users can also enjoy soothing music while reading, depending upon their moods.
So, that much amazing Read’O Verse! is!!
Challenges we ran into
As this was our inaugural hackathon experience, we encountered minor obstacles while developing the project, such as managing our time, ensuring the responsiveness of all pages, and validating the data. However, discovering solutions to these challenges was a remarkable accomplishment for our team.
Specifically, we encountered difficulties with implementing authentication via Firebase, and regrettably, we were unable to incorporate Firebase into our project. However, as one of the key lessons of hackathons is problem-solving, our team persevered and created our own authentication system by constructing a custom database.
