The problem Read Assist solves

Studying is an intensive mental exercise and concentrating while studying is something that we all have struggled with, especially with the introduction of online education and today's situation with the pandemic has forced almost all education and research work online.

Going through page after page of documents, books, research papers can be time consuming and extremely boring ,that only super humans seem to get through. Our project resolves exactly this mundanely genuine issue by making the study process much more interactive than just plain reading.

1. The software generates an audio for the text uploaded which the user can listen to instead of only reading through it.
2. It also gives them an option to generate a summary for a quick review of the text .
3. Adding to that they get another option where they can check their knowledge so far by getting questions based on the text.

For the cherry on top, these summaries and questions are sent to the user via email for them to be able to refer to later.

Challenges we ran into

1. Took a long time for the ML models to process the input text.
2. Tokenization errors
3. Session errors
