The problem RΞAXTIV solves
Managing crypto assets, sending tokens, participating in DAOs, and communicating securely across multiple EVM-compatible networks is often fragmented and unintuitive for everyday users. Existing wallets and chat solutions are either too complex, lack multichain or DAO support, or do not integrate messaging, governance, and transactions in a seamless way.
What Can People Use It For?
- Unified Wallet, Messaging & DAO Participation: Users can manage their assets, chat with other wallet addresses or ENS names, and view or participate in DAO proposals—all in a single, easy-to-use interface.
- Multichain Support: Effortlessly send tokens and interact on Ethereum, Base, and other EVM networks without switching apps.
- DAO Dashboard: Instantly see which DAOs you belong to, browse proposals, and stay updated on governance activity.

- Safer Transactions: The app provides clear transaction feedback and explorer links, reducing the risk of mistakes.

- Bot Assistant: Users can interact with a built-in bot for quick info, tips, and fun commands, making onboarding and daily use easier.
- Privacy & Security: All messages are end-to-end encrypted via XMTP, and users never have to expose their private keys.

In summary:
Reaxtiv makes it easier and safer for anyone to manage their crypto, participate in DAOs, send tokens, and communicate—all in one place, with a friendly and modern interface. This lowers the barrier to entry and makes Web3 adoption much more accessible for new users.
Challenges I ran into
One of the main challenges was handling multichain support, especially ensuring that transactions worked correctly across Ethereum, Base, and other EVM-compatible networks.
Another hurdle was integrating DAO data and proposals in a way that felt seamless for users. Many DAOs use different standards or APIs, so we had to aggregate data from multiple sources and normalize it for a consistent user experience.
We also faced UI/UX challenges in making the wallet, chat, and DAO features intuitive for both experienced and new Web3 users. We solved this by iterating on the design, gathering feedback, and simplifying flows wherever possible.
Another interesting challenge was building the in-app bot. We wanted it to be helpful, fun, and responsive, so we had to design a simple command system and ensure it could provide useful information and guidance to users without being intrusive.
Ensuring secure and reliable messaging with XMTP also required careful handling of encryption and message history, especially when users switched networks or accounts.
Finally, integrating Basenames support required extra effort to resolve and display human-readable names alongside ENS and addresses. We had to make sure that Basenames were recognized everywhere in the app and that users could interact with them just as easily as with ENS names or raw addresses.
By collaborating closely, researching best practices, and testing thoroughly, we were able to overcome these hurdles and deliver a smooth, multichain, and user-friendly experience.
