The problem Raise App solves
We address the limitations of traditional investment methods often characterized by exclusivity, geographical barriers, high minimum investment amounts, and a lack of transparency. RaiseApp unlocks a world of possibilities for local businesses and aspiring investors alike, all underpinned by the secure and transparent nature of blockchain. With blockchain we can empower businesses with: -Secure and Transparent Fundraising: RaiseApp utilizes blockchain technology to create secure and transparent fundraising campaigns, offering investors a clear view of the investment structure and real-time transaction records, fostering trust and confidence. -Frictionless Investment Process: Smart contracts automate and govern the investment process on the blockchain, eliminating the need for intermediaries and streamlining the process for both businesses and investors. -Reduced Costs: Blockchain eliminates the need for third-party involvement and reduces administrative costs associated with traditional fundraising methods, benefiting both businesses and investors. Challenges we ran into
Learning New Technology:
Lack of Documentation: One of the major obstacles was the insufficient documentation for deploying smart contracts on our selected blockchain platform, making the process difficult and time-consuming.
Solution: We overcame this by conducting thorough research and experimenting with various deployment methods. We also sought help from online developer communities and forums to gather insights and best practices. Through persistence and collaboration, we were able to successfully deploy our smart contracts.
Frontend Development and UI Design:
User Interface Design: Creating an intuitive and user-friendly interface that effectively communicates the platform’s functionality and benefits was challenging. Balancing aesthetics with functionality required careful planning and execution.
Solution: We focused on user-centered design principles, gathering feedback from potential users to refine the UI. Utilizing design frameworks and libraries helped streamline the developmen process. Regular usability testing ensured that our design met user needs and expectations.
Development of Frontend: Integrating the frontend with the blockchain and backend systems presented technical challenges, especially in maintaining real-time updates and ensuring a seamless user experience.
Solution: We used modern frontend technologies and frameworks to build a responsive and dynamic interface. Collaboration between frontend and backend teams was crucial to address integration issues promptly. Continuous refinement and testing ensured a smooth and engaging user experience.
