If You Don't Lock It, You Don't Mean It.

The problem Quinty solves

Traditional freelance and funding platforms are centralized, charge high fees, and lack transparency in payments and reputation. Creators face the risk of non-payment, while solvers risk unfair evaluations or fraud.
Quinty eliminates these issues by putting all bounty, grant, and crowdfunding processes on-chain. Every transaction, decision, and reputation update is transparent and verifiable on the blockchain — ensuring trustless collaboration without intermediaries.

Challenges I ran into

One major challenge was coordinating multiple smart contracts — especially syncing data between the Bounty, Reputation, and NFT modules without race conditions or mismatched states.
We solved this by implementing event-driven architecture, where each contract emits standardized events that the frontend listens to in real time. Another hurdle was ensuring IPFS data privacy, which we addressed using blinded submissions and hash-based encryption for solution files.

What is your product’s unique value proposition?

Unlike traditional Web2 platforms (like Upwork or Kickstarter), Quinty offers:

  • 0% platform fees — users only pay gas.
  • Guaranteed payment via full ETH escrow.
  • Permanent reputation using Soulbound NFTs, impossible to fake or transfer.
  • Community-based dispute resolution, not centralized arbitration.

The current alpha build demonstrates full on-chain logic: users can create bounties, join grants, verify identities via ZK verification, and earn NFT badges — proving the end-to-end trustless workflow.

Who is your target customer?

Our target users are Web3 creators, developers, and early-stage projects who value transparency and decentralization.
We validated this through community testing and feedback from hackathon participants, who highlighted that Quinty simplifies collaboration and payment trust issues often found in blockchain ecosystems.

Who are your closest competitors and how are you different?

Competitors:

  • Dework — focuses on DAO task management but lacks full escrow.
  • Gitcoin — offers grants but not decentralized dispute resolution.
  • Bountycaster — bounty-based, but no NFT reputation system.

Quinty’s Edge:
It combines bounty + grant + crowdfunding + NFT reputation all on-chain, with zero platform fees and community governance, creating an integrated trust economy for Web3 work.

What is your distribution strategy and why?

Our strategy is community-driven growth through:

  • Partnerships with Web3 hackathons, DAOs, and Base ecosystem communities.
  • Integrations with developer tools (e.g., WalletConnect, RainbowKit).
  • Airdrop bounties to incentivize early users and on-chain engagement.

This approach aligns with our audience — developers and creators already active in blockchain networks — making adoption organic and trust-based.
