Whatsapp AI agent for food delivery
The problem QuickSmag solves
QuickSmag is a Whatsapp AI agent for ordering food from a marketplace of home chefs and restaurants in Nigeria.
It is convenient as 90% of people in Nigeria use Whatsapp daily and accepts crypto as a means of payment to order food, making it easy for foreign visitors coming to the country and Nigerians with access to crypto on base network to easily order food,
In Awka, Nigeria, over 40,000 students struggle with food access due to:
- Poor customer service, from food vendors/ chefs on WhatsApp.
- Crude method of access to food
- No dedicated food delivery service.
- Vendors more than 5 km apart.
- High delivery fees over 3000 naira.
- Waiting times exceeding an hour.
- Overcrowded stores with only few vendors.
- Difficulty for home cooks to make sales.
QuickSmag solves these problems with a WhatsApp AI agent for easy ordering.
Benefits include:
- Easy access to a variety of food from a marketplace of restaurants/ home-chefs
- Flexible payment since you can order food using stablecoins on base network
- Affordable delivery under 1500 naira.
- responsive support.
- A vendor dashboard for menu management and increased sales.
- Reduced crowding in restaurants by over 20%.
Challenges we ran into
Supporting all wallet payments on Solana network ( presently only Phantom and Solfare works, on the other hand base network works perfectly

Who is your target customer?
From a research/survey of a school with 40,000 Students and people who stay in underserved areas where a central marketplace for food delivery doesnt exist.
We found out our ideal customers are residents in underserved cities, mainly students
Hostel Freshers (Late‑Night Snackers)
First- and second-year students living in private hostels within 3–5km who prefer WhatsApp ordering, are price-sensitive, and spike demand at night during study/exam periods.
Final‑Year & Project Students (Time‑Poor, Higher AOV)
Older undergrads and postgrads juggling projects/internships who value speed, reliability, and larger meal portions; willing to pay modest fees for guaranteed ETAs.
Who are your closest competitors and how are you different?

What is your distribution strategy and why?
For our pilot public beta stage we are focusing on using our strength and launching in a city Awka a location where the founders schooled and reside, the vendors are contacted directly and their food are listed, people can then order
since the area is highly populated by students we plan to reach out to students through the course reps and faculty leaders
we will run mini promotions by hosting picnics in students hostels and and give them discount when they pay with crypto
We have partnership with a logistic agent for the delivery
for the crypto community we are in contact with the state lead, additionally our socials are active and we post regularly about our product, we plan to use tiktok too since it has a good location algorithm, after this we scale to the whole Nigeria
