The problem Questlog solves
The primary problem Questlog addresses is the lack of a permanent, user-owned system for tracking achievements in the Web3 ecosystem. Traditional NFTs can be transferred and sold, which undermines their role as proof of action. By implementing soulbound badges, Questlog ensures that achievements are immutable and tied to the user's identity, fostering a sense of ownership and permanence.
Challenges we ran into
One of the main challenges we encountered during this project was managing time and task allocation between my partner and me. Since we both had different schedules, it was difficult to find overlapping hours to collaborate efficiently. This affected our progress, especially during critical phases of the project such as task verification. Another significant challenge was integrating with third-party platforms we needed to obtain and configure APIs from the platforms we were connecting to, which involved delays and bugs in the code. To overcome the challenges, we took ownership of different tasks and allocated a lot of time together, collaborating.
