An autonomous bot using Rasberry Pie and openCV. It will have a spider design having 4 legs each with 12 degrees of freedom. It will use openCV . It will track object using openCV and follow it.

The problem Quadruped Bot solves

An autonomous bot with quite stability that can be used to navigate in rough terrains and
can be used for security purposes. Bot will use computer vision to map and navigate in the
surrounding.
Easy mobility in rough terrains.
Can be useful in search and rescue missions like in earthquake affected areas. Can be useful in finding people buried under collapsed building using thermal sensors.
It can be useful for defense and security purpose . It can be used as a spy bot in desert areas and can be used as mine detection bot.

Challenges I ran into

Servo initialisation code for 0 degree angle.
Interfacing of opencv with server
