A Sanitizing Robot
The problem PYRO solves
PROBLEM:-
Improper sanitizing solutions used, which has an efficiency of 75%.
Widespread Infection of Coronavirus due to improper sanitization.
The technologies available are costlier as compared to our solution.
Due to widespread infection, day to day activities are affected.
SOLUTION:-
Pyro is a 4 wheel autonomous robot which will be used for sanitization of hospitals and commercial work spaces with an efficiency of 99%.
Challenges we ran into
Initially we were not able to control the bot in the simulation platform(webots), but found the solution on google.
Another problem we faced was that we did not have any hardware with us because of the restrictions in opening of institutes and all of us had to work remotely from home.
ROS was also not very familiar but was learnt and implemented side by side in our project.
