The problem Pulse solves

Our project aims to democratize smart investment decisions by bridging the gap between expert investors and the average individual. With our platform, users can access AI-guided insights to make informed investment decisions, benefit from simplified processes, and a user-friendly interface, making investing easier for everyone.

Challenges we ran into

  1. Data Quality and Availability: Ensuring access to reliable financial data remains a challenge, alongside integrating satellite imaging samples for AI model development.
  2. Algorithm Complexity: Developing an accurate and robust AI algorithm for investment decision-making, particularly when incorporating satellite imaging data, required a lot of time investment.
  3. User Interface Design: Creating an elegant and user-friendly interface that accommodates both novice and seasoned investors, while seamlessly integrating our AI models, presented a significant challenge. Our decision to utilize the Taipy library in Python introduced an unexpected hurdle, proving to be one of the most demanding aspects of this project. Despite investing over 6 hours in debugging, we ultimately discovered that the limitations we encountered were inherent to the Taipy library.
  4. Performance and Scalability: Ensuring the platform can handle large volumes of users and data, including satellite imaging data, while maintaining optimal performance is crucial.
  5. Integration with External Platforms: Integrating with third-party services or APIs for data sources, trading execution, or portfolio management may present integration challenges, including those related to satellite imaging data providers.
  6. Feedback Loop and Adaptability: Establishing a feedback loop to continuously improve the AI models, including those incorporating satellite imaging data, and adapt to changing market conditions is essential.
