Feed, Play, Earn- Where Pets and Crypto Meet!
The problem P3tF1 solves
Have you ever played nostalgic games like Pou or Talking Tom, where you care for a digital pet by feeding, nurturing, and playing with it? Well, we’re excited to introduce P3tF1, an on-chain game where you can create, customize, and grow your very own digital pet! Your pet comes with three key attributes: level, strength, and intelligence. The type of food and care you provide will shape its strengths and weaknesses, making each pet unique.
P3tF1 also features engaging games where you can take your trained pet, combine it with your skills, and compete in fun challenges to level up your pet while earning rewards. Additionally, there’s a pet marketplace where you can list your pet for sale or purchase someone else’s. By pairing your unique skills with your pet’s strong attributes, you can tackle tough challenges and earn real cryptocurrency.
Unlike traditional casual games, P3tF1 introduces the play-to-earn (P2E) model, allowing players to earn actual cryptocurrency as they interact with the game. The time you spend feeding, caring for, and playing with your pet translates into valuable digital currency, which can be traded, used for pet care, or converted into real-world value. To keep you engaged, the game offers daily rewards and an attribute-decay feature, encouraging regular care for your pet.
But that’s not all! P3tF1 takes it a step further by allowing you to manage your pet across multiple chains. You can also buy pets from different chains and bring them to your preferred chain, giving you even more flexibility and opportunities to grow your collection. This cross-chain functionality opens up a whole new world of possibilities, making P3tF1 a truly unique and interconnected gaming experience.
Challenges we ran into
We faced large difficulty in abstracting user confirmation during transaction every time during gameplay which might affect their UX. We tackled this by including abstracted accounts in place of EOAs.
One of the major difficulty we faced was to establish cross contract calls and transactions which was later on resolved by managing approve permissions for allowing contract change by other contract.
