The problem Prosper solves

Open source projects like Typescript, Tensorflow, React-Native, Dall-E & many more have hundreds of pull requests starving to get a comment from the project maintainers & get merged into the main code base.

Starvation of pull requests has lead to

1. Delayed Software Delivery
2. The developer may get frustrated & loose motivation to contribute to the project
3. Bussiness discontinuity due to P0 bugs.

Prosper allows everyone to stake Ethereum on any pull request, creating a novel incentive system. If the PR is merged, contributors receive the staked ether as a reward; if the PR is closed, the ether goes back to its original owners. In the world of open source, where passion often collides with real-life commitments, Prosper bridges the gap by providing tangible rewards. By unlocking financial incentives, Prosper empowers contributors, enhancing the velocity of open source development and fostering a more sustainable ecosystem.

Challenges we ran into

1. It was a challenge to integrate setting notification of Push protocol with a subscription and unsunscription model.

2. Chainlink CCIP was not compatible with scroll due to which we could not implement it and we hope that the Chainlink - Scroll Bridges are deployed soon.

3. Integration of Smart Contract with the Fronted was challenging because we faced many issues.
