The problem PropertyPal solves

Property Pal addresses significant challenges in the real estate industry by leveraging technology to provide innovative solutions. According to recent statistics, approximately 80% of homebuyers rely on the internet as their primary source of information when searching for properties. However, traditional property listings often lack sufficient detail and fail to provide an immersive experience, leading to frustration and uncertainty among buyers. Additionally, the global pandemic has further amplified the need for virtual solutions, with restrictions on in-person viewings and a growing demand for remote property exploration. Property Pal bridges these gaps by offering immersive 360-degree virtual tours, enabling users to explore properties in detail from the comfort of their own homes. This approach not only enhances the property search experience but also increases engagement and confidence among buyers. Moreover, with the rise of digital transactions and the need for contactless processes, Property Pal facilitates secure online transactions, streamlining the buying and renting process for both buyers and sellers. By addressing these challenges head-on, Property Pal is revolutionizing the property listing experience and empowering users to make informed decisions with confidence.

Challenges we ran into

Throughout the development journey, we faced various tough situations that demanded creative thinking to solve. One big problem was with our Flutter software, causing delays at first. Also, adding a VR tour to our app was tricky because of payment issues with Google Cloud Platforms, slowing us down. To tackle these issues, we had to reinstall our Flutter software, which took a lot of time and effort. But we didn't give up. We looked for other ways and found that we should embedd a link to the virtual tour in our app instead. This turned out to be a great solution, helping us smoothly add the VR tour and keep moving forward with our development work.
