What challenges are you focusing on?
This platform addresses a challenge in the PR landscape. Brands or individuals may find it difficult to find the right influencers for their event or campaign or cannot afford the cost of engaging in influencer marketing. Influencers are constantly seeking for paid gigs to generate an income.
How does your submission address this challenge?
Promoat gives brands or individuals the power to secure influencers within their niche for paid promotions, and within their budget. On the other hand, it gives influencers the opportunity to explore and gain more gigs; they can participate in small tasks like retweeting a post, or big tasks like making a video ad, etc and get paid by companies or individuals around the world.
Challenges we ran into
Team alignment with the vision of the app:
There was a point where it seemed like the developer team was not getting the essence or vision of the platform. We had to engage in several meetings and re-align and make adjustments. We haven't met our target yet, in terms of the platform features, but we are gradually getting there soon.
