Prometheus

Invest in people for a better tomorrow. A Platform to help investors to invest in individuals and get a fixed percentage of their profits in return for a given tenure.

The problem Prometheus solves

How about a new world where no one with innovative and scalable ideas is held back due to lack of basic infrastructure. Stock doesn’t need to be limited to tangible assets instead we are scaling it to a whole another level where anyone who is having a potential idea can be supported and invested on. In this investment app, we are bridging between people with wealth and people who are in need of infrastructure to scale their income and the investors can avail the benefits of their raised income.
People who are starting out as freelancers/youtubers often fail due to the lack of proper infrastructure and funding at the beginning of their career, we aim to solve this problem by bridging investors and influencers, and supporting them, benefitting both. We are aiming at providing each and everyone with an innovative mind and talent to break the shackles of limitation caused by their poor background and to outshine others. Imagine an influencer earning 10k per month. He utilizes our platform some random investor finds his content and approach to video making very much appreciable and invest 10 lakh. He utilizes this money and set up a nice studio and other infrastructure and scales his income to 10 lakh per month now the investor also gets a 100 percent growth in his earning as well thus it happens to be a mutual rise.10 percentage of this will be the profit of our app..Thus this would be a game-changing investment system that utilizes one’s asset-based thinking. If someone tries to bring an artificial surge if a particular account is having a high activity within a very short time we freeze it for a while and thus maintain the regular flow, this is also applicable for some sudden hype that might occur for a random influencer as well.

Challenges we ran into

We found it pretty hard to complete the front-end part as there weren't any pre-existing templates available suited for our project. So we had to build everything from scratch. We also had a change of plans in the very last few hours of this project submission as there was a change in the revenue model of the project and so we had to change almost 80% of the user interface( the development is still in progress). So in order to expedite the development flow we used some premade components and templates from material UI.
