According to the survey conducted by our team (online through google forms) we came to know that the students of our college happen to miss on the notes and important pdfs shared by the teachers in their respective class groups due to spamming of messages. Also, the photocopy shop at our university is a one person outlet which makes the process very slow and people have to spend a large amount of time waiting in ques to even get 1 photocopy/printout.
To solve these problems, we provide a platform exclusively for IGDTUW, where teachers can share notes and pdfs in different communities (divided by batches and courses). Students can access directly from their respective community and send it for photocopy through the same platform along with an online payment option if they wish to or cash transactions while collecting the prints from the shop.
While building this project, we came across contradicting opinions among our team members, we solved it by understanding the other member's perspective and negotiated a solution. We all were new to hackathon so we explored how to take part and learned how to use canva.
