The problem Project-N solves

News reporting is especially difficult and sometimes life threatening task for huge scams or regarding people of high profile. Reporters can't dare to report at times when the matter of other parties will be at stake. So they need a platform to alert the entire society without revealing their identity.

Traditional news sites can be tracked and even taken down by government easily before anyone see those scams/high profile news(as in situation of Chinese govt doing the same for reporters who warned about corona virus). But here,using the power of blockchain, we would like to ensure data integrity and prevent data from tampering by anyone.This also gives the additional benefit of not collecting any information from reporting people to ensure their safety and security. 

This way neither reporter's identity is revealed nor government/hackers can take down the information from public.This is the perfect application for Blockchain technology for social good and times like these where news and information are most crucial for people to elect their leaders.

Challenges we ran into

Time is the major challenge we faced. Also, deploying smart contracts directly into the net is something we thought of initially and blocking the spam reports by introducing Admin/Group of reviewers who first checks for proof and then post is made public on approval of them.
But being a huhge task we couldn't integrate this features. We managed to pull of the smart contracts and truffle integration which troubled us for long time.

Why It's Different Than Other News sites

We keep track of all the records of posts in Ethereum network so that no one can ever delete those posts from public.
If someone learn a ugly truth and want to expose them, they can use our website!
We are like digital version of the hacker Julian Assange however with our site nobody can track or threated the person who's sharing the truth!

People can do a Smart Transaction with Blockchain technology. It means whoever posts in our site shall first be recorded in Ethereum network which makes the Data he posted literally unchangeable and will be always out there to the public without any restriction as long as Project-N exits!
