The problem Project Onchain Wikipedia solves

Project Onchain Wikipedia was born out of the desire to address some of the limitations and vulnerabilities of traditional web-based knowledge platforms. Wikipedia, while immensely popular and valuable, faces challenges such as centralization, censorship, and data integrity. By utilizing blockchain technology, Project Onchain Wikipedia aims to ensure that all contributions and edits are permanently recorded onchain, making tampering or unauthorized changes virtually impossible.

Challenges I ran into

I had to create a Wikipedia clone that suprisingly uses a lot of technology that I would otherwise had never considered. However, the challenging part was what to abstract away for the purpose of this hackathon. I was realizing halfway through building much of the components, that I was wasting time trying to "perfect" the clone, and should instead optimize for a more demo experience, rather than trying to build the entire product in one sitting. Which is a common bad habit I always have when hacking in these events. Certaintly, the short notice and lack of preplanning prior to the hackathon would've considerbly helped.
