Project CITY
C.I.T.Y. fetches civic complaints from Twitter via APIs, uses NLP/sentiment analysis, geo-tags issues, prioritizes by severity, and stores immutable records on blockchain.
The problem Project CITY solves
Urban civic issues like potholes, broken streetlights, garbage dumps, and water leaks often go unnoticed or unresolved due to lack of real-time reporting and accountability. Traditional complaint systems are slow, non-transparent, and require manual intervention.
C.I.T.Y. solves this by automating the entire civic issue reporting process. It fetches complaints directly from Twitter via APIs using the hashtag #CITYHamirpur, analyzes them using NLP and sentiment analysis to understand urgency, categorizes the issues intelligently, geo-tags their locations, and prioritizes them based on severity.
Trolls and spam are filtered out to ensure only genuine complaints are considered. All complaints are stored immutably on blockchain, creating a tamper-proof, transparent ledger for public and administrative access. An admin portal provides officials with a real-time dashboard to track, verify, and resolve issues quickly.
By combining social media monitoring, AI-based analysis, geo-tagging, and blockchain transparency, C.I.T.Y. ensures faster action, higher trust, and a cleaner, smarter city.
