Experience Andhadhun, an immersive audio-based adventure designed for the visually impaired. Navigate with a revolutionary handgun controller and spatial audio.

The problem Project: Andhadhun solves

Our project makes gaming accessible to the blind while offering an immersive, audio-driven experience for all. It trains spatial awareness, improves auditory focus, enables inclusive multiplayer gameplay, and could transform education, therapy, and Paralympic esports alike.

Challenges we ran into

Designing for Zero Visual Feedback: Creating intuitive gameplay without relying on visuals was a major design challenge.

Audio Precision: Achieving accurate and consistent spatial audio cues across different headphones required fine-tuning.

Haptic Synchronization: Ensuring real-time vibration feedback synced seamlessly with game events took careful calibration.

Hardware Integration: Building a compact, responsive controller with IMU and vibration motor was tricky due to wiring, latency, and ergonomics.

User Testing: Gathering feedback from visually impaired players and adapting based on diverse sensory responses was essential — and humbling.
