ProFitness bridges that gap by offering a complete, interactive health support system. It brings together emergency aid guidance, personalized workout routines, nutrition tracking, injury prevention, progress logging, and smart health tools like BMI and calorie calculators—all in one place.
Whether you're a fitness enthusiast, someone recovering from injury, or just aiming for a healthier lifestyle, ProFitness makes it easy to take charge of your well-being, holistically and safely.
Challenges we ran into
Integrating Multiple Features Smoothly: Combining various modules like workout planning, first aid, meal tracking, and emergency help into a single cohesive experience required careful design and logic structuring.
Data Handling with Firebase: Implementing real-time data updates, secure user authentication, and proper database structuring with Firestore was a challenge, especially while ensuring smooth performance across features.
UI/UX Balance: Designing a clean, intuitive interface that works equally well for fitness tracking and health emergencies was tricky. We had to ensure important tools like First Aid and SOS were accessible instantly without overwhelming users.
Customizing Health Plans: Creating dynamic routines based on age, gender, and training type demanded a flexible yet robust backend and frontend logic system.
Toggle Features and Cart Logic: Making interactive feature cards behave like toggle buttons, along with building a filterable shopping section with cart functionality, required precise JavaScript and state management.
