The problem Private Real Estate solves

Real estate investing presents severe structural inefficiencies:

1. High Barriers to Entry & Illiquidity: High capital requirements make premium real estate inaccessible to retail investors.
2. Public Surveillance on Open Blockchains: Standard ERC-20 tokenization exposes investors' complete wallet balances, net worth, and portfolio movements to competitors and public scrutiny.
3. Voter Coercion & Doxxing: Public on-chain governance links investor identities to their specific votes on property maintenance, buybacks, and management decisions.

Challenges we ran into

Ethereum and standard ERC-20 tokens are completely transparent by default. When an investor buys property shares, on-chain event logs (Transfer) expose their public address, making traditional cap tables dox-prone.

In standard voting protocols, preventing double-voting requires logging the voter's msg.sender against the proposal, which completely eliminates ballot secrecy. So we had to find our way around.

Building separate workflows for Property Issuers (minting, listing, cap tables) and Investors (browsing, fractional purchases, private voting) without relying on traditional email/password credentials or centralized identity storage was tough.
