Courts are getting many cases and currently it is becoming challenging to prioritize those cases. A software/ algorithm should be developed for prioritizing and allocations of dates to the cases.
The problem Prioritization of court cases solves
To categorize registered cases based on sections.
To make prioritization engine to prioritize cases category wise.
To allocate date to the cases on the basis of priority.
The parameter to prioritize are-
1. Time of filing of chargesheet.
2. Severity of the crime and sections involved.
3. Last hearing date.
To make the system impartial.
Challenges we ran into
we faced problems in creating a priotization engine, In integrating backend with frontend.
Took help of social media handles like youtube and mentors of hack the space hackathon.
