Abstract

Currently end users wanting to speculate on projects during price discovery period(pre TGE) either don't have access to tools to facilitate the trade of their pre-market allocations / points or in some cases only have access to extremally primitive solutions like telegram OTC channels with trusted third-parties that facilitate the trades and require both parties to trust them with their collateral. That isn't good for sellers since they don't know if they will actually get their collateral + buyer collateral after TGE. On the other hand buyers have to worry if they will receive tokens and whether that's gonna happen immediately post-TGE.

Insiders like Founders, VCs, KOLs are facing similar problems while huge chunk of their net-worth might be in project's tokens which cannot be sold on open market due to shallow liquidity and potential price impact.

Pre.Market OTC desk solves it and aims to democratize OTC trading so that anyone can create buy / sell offers, deposit collateral and facilitate peer to peer exchange of points / token allocations without trusted middle-man since deposits and confirmations are handled fully within smart contracts.

All current OTC desks rely to some extent on trusted third-party, what differentiates us is instead of that we plan on having trading process handled fully through smart contracts accessed from the dapp with independent dispute resolution facilitated either through UMA protocol or Kleros.
