PredictBase is a decentralized prediction market where anyone can create prediction markets and earn a share of the revenue they generate, unlike traditional betting platforms that keep all the profits. Every market and bet is recorded fully on-chain, ensuring outcomes are transparent, immutable, and unstoppable — if you win, you get paid, no questions asked.

Over the past 6 months building PredictBase, we faced many challenges. Here are some of the biggest ones:

USDC Approval Issues
Initially, placing bets required multiple approval popups, which hurt the user experience. We had to request unlimited approvals to avoid this, but it wasn’t ideal. With the help of Jesse, we implemented EIP-5792, allowing users to place bets seamlessly in just one signature.

Gas Fee Confusion
Many users thought they only needed USDC to participate, and were confused when they also needed ETH for gas. We solved this by integrating Coinbase Developer Platform’s Paymaster, which sponsors gas fees so users can transact without worrying about ETH.

Web3 Onboarding Barriers
Some users were unfamiliar with Web3 and wallet creation. To address this, we built PrediBot, our AI Agent on X (Twitter), which uses the Coinbase Developer Platform to automatically create wallets for users. This lets them create markets and place bets through simple tweets, no technical knowledge required.

After overcoming these challenges, PredictBase now has 5,000+ users and over $400,000 in total volume — and we’re still growing fast.
