The problem PredCrop solves
The objective of this project is to predict the crop yield of different crops based on various environmental factors using multiple linear regression. The project aims to assist farmers in maximizing their crop yield by identifying the most important factors that influence crop yield.The project provides farmers with a tool for optimizing their crop yield and improving their farming practices.
Challenges we ran into
The challenges are that the data we need to collect to predict the crop yeild is not easy to obtain. Various technologies are used to collect these data of the surrounding farms. So normal formers will not be able to use the model until government supports them by collecting the data, training the model on it and then prociding the farmers with best practices for maximum crop yeild.
