Researchers say negative emotions like fear and sadness trigger increased activity in a part of the brain linked to memories. We recall bad memories more easily and in greater detail than good ones, and this was beneficial to our ancestor’s survival.
However, focusing too much on bad memories and emotions would generate a negative impact on our mental well-being.
Studies have shown that recalling positive memories and happy life experiences during adolescence may help teens fortify their resilience and reduce the risk of depression later in life.
In light of this, we would like to build an app to help users to focus on the positive things and blessings in today’s life.
Time zone was a challenge, as we have 3 different time zones and some not all developers are awake at the same time. However, we are able to overcome this through effective communication and planning.
