Portfolio Pilot

Portfolio Pilot

Manage all your assets in one place.

The problem Portfolio Pilot solves

The modern investor is not limited to just investing money in a single place. Today, we have options to invest in cryto, stock exchanges, mutual funds, fixed deposits, real estate, bonds and many more... The list goes on.

When investors have such a diverse portfolio it blurs the lines for how much money is invested where, and what is the current valuation of the money. Bookkeeping needs to be done to keep track of how much money is invested where, which is a tedious task to do manually.

Portfolio Pilot aims to help reduce this burden. With Portfolio Pilot, you can keep track of all your cryptocurrencies, stock holdings, mutual fund holdings, fixed deposits and real estate in a single place! You can view profit and loss across different areas of investment all in one place. Individual dashboards are also available where you can dig deeper into which of your assets is performing well and which ones are not.

How is this possible? With portfolio pilot, you can upload your trading reports provided by your brokers like Binance and Zerodha. These reports are consolidated and put together so that you can think about your future instead of thinking about where your money is. Trades can also be added individually.

This can be improved even further. With brokers providing OAuth 2.0 based access to user holdings, we can get rid of even downloading and uploading reports!

Since you're thinking about investing in your future, we present Goals. With goals, you can set financial achievements for yourself. Goals will then give options for different investment plans, which you can choose to follow till you achieve them.

Challenges we ran into

  1. API Access for live stock pricing. Most of these services are paid.
  2. API Access for user holdings. Most of these services are paid.
