Challenges we ran into

1. Move AI agent kit only supports Aptos Mainnet and required private keys for execution in examples, which brought some challenges for development and testing. We modified the module SDK locally and imported it into our project. This approach allowed us to customize the SDK to work with testnet environments while maintaining the core functionality needed for our AI-powered trading assistant.
2. Integrating multiple DeFi protocols (Joule Finance and Merkle Trade) presented some technical challenges, like fetching positions across different protocols and token price data from sources, as well as executing transactions in batch across protocols, which is significantly essential for portfolio management. So we developed our own Move smart contract to handle batch transactions and standardize data across protocols. This contract serves as a middleware layer that enables atomic execution of multi-protocol transactions in one-click.
3. We encountered compatibility problems with certain wallet providers on Aptos. We resolved this by implementing a more robust wallet connection layer using Aptos-wallet-adaptor SDK with better error handling and fallback mechanisms.
